SJP quit TV to focus on kids

Hollywood actress Sarah Jessica Parker, recently revealed to be Tinseltown’s joint-highest-earning female by Forbes, quit the hugely popular Sex in the City show to focus on motherhood.
SJP told Vogue magazine that the decision was a natural one.
“I ultimately chose to stop doing the television series because I felt like it required, and deserved, a lot of time – when I really wanted to be a parent,” she said.
Parker, 46, is married to fellow Hollywood actor Matthew Broderick, from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
The couple have three children, James Wilkie, eight, and two-year-old twins, Lorretta and Tabitha.
“We’re pretty hands-on parents,” she added. “That’s something that’s important to both of us, and we don’t shirk it, because what’s the point in having a family if you’re not going to really participate in it, you know?”
