Katie Price given driving ban

Katie Price has been banned from driving for six months after police caught her speeding at 83mph in her Range Rover.
The former glamour model was fined £1,000 and given three points on her license after she admitted breaking the 70mph limit on the A23 in Pyecome, West Sussex on December 10 last year.
Katie’s defence lawyer, Robin Sellers said she had been trying to escape paparazzi photographers when she was caught on a mobile speed camera in a police car.
The three points she received took her over the 12-point limit, giving her an automatic six-month driving ban. Mum-of -three Katie, 32, from Woldingham, Surrey, already had seven points on her license from using her mobile phone at the wheel in June 2008, and speeding in July this year.
In September she received a further three points and fined £1,000 for not being in control of her £115,000 bright pink horsebox.
