Following his attack on then girlfriend pop sensation Rihanna, Chris Brown has been reportedly said he feels forgiven over the incident.
Speaking to Page Six magazine, Brown said that he thinks that people have finally forgiven him and admits to being shunned by many celebrity friends.
Following the attack he was sentenced to five years’ probation and six months community service and watched as his career took a nose dive over the two years that were to follow.
He said: “”A handful of people stuck by me. But when (most) people see certain things happen to somebody, they usually turn away. They don’t want to get involved with it because they don’t want their name attached to anything negative.”
After working on a new album and laying low he believes that one of the reasons people are now willing to forgive him could be down to the fact that they want to work with him again.
“They wanna get on the record. They wanna let me back in the door. The last two years, everybody dissed me. But my fans were so dedicated. The way I look at it is, you can’t walk around mad, because then you just prove everybody right that you’re an angry person.” Said Brown.
